Best and worst memories of summer 2011

Thursday Bryan and I went out with some very awesome friends for dinner and a movie. During dinner the topic of best and worst memories of this summer. Bryan instantly said, "Sun Valley trip number 1 was the worst, and Sun Valley trip number 2 was the best!" I almost agree with him. Our first trip to Sun Valley this summer was for a skating competition, and those of you who have been within 5ft. of me during a competition know that I get some serious nerves, and anxiety. So needless to say for Bryan that wasn't really a vacation, more like a sit around in a beautiful place and just watch Kelsey skate and be her support. Which is so awesome of Bryan, he's the best husband in the world! Our second trip to Sun Valley was a crazy sporadic trip. Bryan bought us tickets to go watch The Sun Valley Ice Show staring Sasha Cohen! Our plan was to drive up watch the show and drive back. When we got there we decided we wanted to go swimming but had forgotten our swimming suits, so we went looking for some to buy. We found some and  from there everything just happened. We got a room at the Sun Valley Lodge for a really good price, had dinner, went to the show (which waas the most amazing ice show I've ever seen, and we knew some of the skaters in it!), and went swimming and on a gondola ride Sunday morning! It was the best trip ever!!!  I got to meet Sasha Cohen and get here signature, she is an amazing and beautiful skater!

Awesome Cabin Weekend

This weekend we were invited up to our dear friend's (Kelsey and Taylor Ward) cabin. It's out in Huntsville, the drive was beautiful! The hills and mountains are so green and seem to go on forever! The cabin has a small-ish cliff (I think they said 90ft.) right next to it. We went repelling down both sides of it. One side was a straight drop and the other side slanted then dropped. Bryan and I both loved the straight drop! We probably went down about 3-4 times each! It was a blast!! My favorite part was getting to the tubbing. Yes, I said getting to the tubbing. Six of us piled up into a 5 seated car, we had a huge tube on top of the car, two tubes hanging out the trunk, and three of us held tubes out the windows! The cars behind us weren't too happy, but we looked awesome! Kelsey Ward kept saying "We look so white trash!" haha and we so did! The tubbing was really fun, I took a few spills and have bumps and bruises to prove it. But it was so exciting and fun to get up in the mountains away from life with great friends!!! Thanks guys!!!
